The Balconies - Grampians National Park

One of Victoria's most popular destinations and camping retreats, the Grampians National Park is a rugged mountainous range with spectacular rock formations, breathtaking beauty and magnificent views.

Mackenzie Falls - Grampians National Park Covering an area of 167, 000 hectares rich with unique flora, waterfalls, valleys, streams, rivers and magical forests scenery have been four hundred million years in the making.

Aboriginal people have a long association with the Grampians, traditionally known as Gariwerd. Aboriginal people are thought to have first camped in the region more than 10,000 years ago within the rock shelters, where they would adorn the walls with traditional markings and artwork. Today about 60 rock art sites, containing more than 4000 different artworks have been identified and preserved with several shelters open to the public.

Grampians National Park boasts of having one of the largest waterfalls in the State. Follow the picturesque walking track down into the gully and discover the spectacular Mackenzie Falls.
